Dr. Eric Blake ND, Dipl.Ac

Eric Blake is a naturopathic physician and diplomate of acupuncture with a masters degree in oriental medicine. He is clinical director for the Portland Clinic of Holistic Health. Under his direction the clinic has grown from 1200 visits annually in 2007 to over 7000 visits in 2013 and is on track to see 9000 in 2014- with the equivalent of only 2 full time doctors. The clinic does not bill insurance outside of a small number of MVA visits and has had patients travel for care from across the country and from as far away as the Ivory Coast and Columbia, South America.

Dr. Blake has lectured internationally at the Priessnitz institute in the Czech Republic, presented at the International Congress of Naturopathy in Paris, has lectured to state medical organizations, taught private courses on advanced naturopathic clinical techniques, as well as teaching at naturopathic and acupuncture colleges. He is co-editor and contributing author of the professional textbook Naturopathic Physical Medicine (2008).  He has authored chapters for other professional textbooks as well — Chronic Pelvic Pain and Dysfunction (2011) and Fibromyalgia: A practitioners guide to care (2010). He has also authored a teaching workbook on naturopathic physiotherapy for physicians – which alongside german irisdiagnosis is his clinical specialty.
